Tommy Earl James was born on April 4, 1966, to L.B. James and Toni James in Huntsville, Texas. He attended Huntsville High School and was employed by Gordon Glass and the Huntsville Rest Area during his working years. Tommy was known for his kind spirit and the love he shared with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, L.B. James; his brother, Bobby Howard; his grandmothers, Pearl James and Bertha Howard; his aunts, Linda Howard and Johnnie Calegon; his uncles, James Rodgers James and Eddie Andrews; and his cousin, Brenda McAdams.
He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved son, Tommy James, Jr.; his mother, Toni McGuire; his stepfather, Earl McGuire; his sisters, Twerla Horton (Dexter), Bridgette James, Emma James, and Lavette; his brothers, David James (Calethia) and Billy James; his uncles, George Howard (Everlyn), Ed Howard, and Henry James; his aunts, Hattie Johnson, Lois Doaks, Gladys McGuire, Odessa McGuire, and Anette McGuire; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
Tommy also leaves behind special friends: Vanetta and Harold Furr, Shun Johnson, Ronald Ross, Shirley Tyson, Helen Tucker, and Vidette Straughter.
Tommy Earl James will be remembered for the love he gave so freely and the lasting impact he made on those who knew him. His memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of his family and friends.
